This is Bob's story:
Bob works hard, so he would come home late and exhausted. He was tired of juggling his keys - dropping them, trying to put them in the lock the right way, it didn't fit, flipped it, still didn't fit, flipped it again... you know what I mean... Anyway, Bob's door now unlocks with his phone just by walking up. He also has the option of fingerprint, code, facial recognition, or even a manual key - although, let's be honest, keys are so 2025.
It's really dark when Bob gets home, but that's okay. Bob can turn on all the lights just by telling them to turn on, or he can switch them on remotely from his app before he even walks in. He has his lights set to bright white at night and warm yellow in the morning. Bob likes to change them to blue when he watches movies, and red when he Netflix and chills.
While Bob is at work, his automated vacuum does a deep sweep and mop, so he comes home to clean floors every day.
Bob is particular - in a good way. He likes his space at a certain temperature when he gets home, but he dreaded the idea of leaving the AC running all day just so it was cool when he'd arrive. Bob is also busy, so he used to forget to turn the AC off when he left for the day... and we all know BELCO is unforgiving when the AC's are running all day. But that's all sorted now. Bob has his AC on a timer that fits his schedule perfectly - he set it once and hasn't touched it since. Smart thinking Bob.
Bob likes hot water like the rest of us, but he feels like he is burning cash when his water heater turns on randomly throughout the day. The worst part? He doesn't even know how much it is costing him because there is no data. Luckily, Bob reaches out to Connect. Now his water heater runs on a schedule, and he can see exactly how much energy it is using.
